Even though I do not normally write personal posts, after being missing for this long I though I own you all some explantations. My last post aired April 22nd and we are halfway through August. When I wrote that last post, I was about to finish my thesis and defend my PhD. That happend halfway through May and now I am officially a doctor. To update you on what happened afterwards…
Back then, I had to leave Belgium, find a new place to live and a new job… you know, this blogging thing still has not made me rich! In any case, once I found a nice job, all the problems related to moving arised. I had to finish the arrangements with my old landlord (which were complicated and problematic). Also, I needed to find a new appartment in my city. I was quite scared because they kept on telling me that for most people it takes ages to find a place to live… So it was very very stressing. At the same time, I was also quite excited about the possibilities opening in front of me. In general, life was fast and stressing and it was hard to catch up in real life. Imagine adding a blog on top of all of that.
Now I am settled in my new and wonderful city (Amsterdam… Yay!), and finally everything seems to be in place. A house, an job, and on my way to get to meet some locals and get a new circle of friends. Begginings are tough but worth it! I will try to go back to my weekly posts of photo-galleries and blogposts and I hope you keep on reading me!
